Brandon's Wedding

We went to Bellville at the end of April for Doug's good friend, Brandon's wedding. We all had a blast that weekend! I think I had more fun at that wedding than most we've been to. Darcy had a good time too, although she pooped out on us about 8:30, and before the dancing even started. So we didn't get many pics of her. The church had a nice flower garden out to the side and we tried to get some pictures of her there, but she wasn't having any of it. This is the best I got.


Doug was the best man in the wedding, his friend Brandon is in the middle, and Eric on the right.



Kim did most of the decorations herself, since she's an artist by trade. Everything looked great! They even had a table with all kinds of craft supplies for the kids; what a great idea!

Of course, we had to get a shot of us all dressed up. Because lets face it, it doesn't happen often. And when it does, we have to document it.

On a side note, we were getting dressed for the wedding, and had about 10 minutes before we had to leave when I felt a strange breeze across my back. The zipper of my dress had split, and there was no fixing it. I had to rush to change into jeans, which was the only other thing I had. Then it was off to drop Doug off at the church since he had to be there an hour early, and then I made a mad dash to JCPenney's to try and find a dress that fit. They had one rack of dresses. I literally bought the only dress they had that fit and wasn't grandmotherly.

So it wasn't even my wedding and I had a 'wedding snafu.' Wasn't the one at our wedding enough??
