Then a few days later, we started VBS in Leakey with a bunch of our bible study ladies. And of course, while we were in Leakey, we had to visit the Frio River a couple afternoons after VBS. Luckily a couple of the ladies had nice spots on the river for kids to swim. Darcy loved it! I didn't take the camera out at the river, but maybe we'll get a few pics from other folks. Here are some pictures of Darcy on the first day of VBS. The lady I was helping put the bow in her hair! They said she really came out of her shell this week, so beware!
And on top of all that we are having our first round of calves from our heifers. Of course, our pet cow is sick and we're having to supplement her calf with a bottle. So we get to wrestle a calf a few times a day, which does not help with the fatigue part of summer. Hopefully next week, things will return to whatever we call normal. Hope everyone is doing well! I'll try to update more often as we have a birthday coming up....!

Some of the moms at the Divide school do a Beth Moore BS every school year. We meet at the school library after everyone drops their kids off!
