Sick Again

Yes, Doug is sick again. This time with pneumonia. But I'm glad to say he is on the mend and feeling better, and will probably be able to go back to work this week sometime. Darcy was a little sick with allergies herself, but she too is getting better. We haven't taken any pictures in a while since we've been staying in and staying cool so no one would be prone to fever.

However, we did attend Doug's brother's (Darren) wedding a few weekends ago. And while you would think that we would have some cute pictures of Darcy all dressed up, and us too for that matter, we don't. The stinker fell asleep in the middle of the reception right as they were starting the music to dance. It was even before 9! We were looking forward to getting her out on the dance floor, since she loves to dance. But, thankfully, they had a lot of photographers. And it seemed like they took a lot of pictures of Darcy (they even took one of her sleeping in my lap). So hopefully when the wedding pictures come out, we'll have some!

So no pics this time. And no exciting news really. We're taking it easy until everyone gets over whatever they have. But can I just say, God really knows what he's doing... we've been sick a lot this year, but he keeps one of us adults healthy no matter what contagious funk the other has, and that makes it so much easier with Darcy!
