Ahh... December

Well, sorry folks, no pictures this time. I actually haven't taken any pictures in a while, at least not of people. We have however gotten some good video of Darcy dancing and doing other funny stuff we can use as bribe material when she's older. I would post it, but I'm not that advanced on working the camera yet. I still don't know how to get it off the camera. So maybe one of these days I'll get to learning that.

We had a good Thanksgiving around here. We went to San Saba for Thursday, and then had another Thanksgiving here on Saturday with Doug's family. So it was kind of uneventful and laid back, with plenty of food... just the way I like it.

I am very content since I have ALL of my Christmas shopping done and everything is wrapped and under the tree. And as I say that, there is one person I haven't got anything for yet... Darcy. For shame to forget about that! We're going to make a stop by Toys R Us for a better selection when we're going through San Antonio in a few weeks, so don't get on to us yet!

In other news, nothing is going on around here, we are just bidding time til Christmas, trying to keep Darcy in line, and vaguely researching vehicles as we might be in the market for one very soon. And now I'll have to excuse myself, we let the Deer into the backyard to act as "lawnmower" and he has taken to pulling stuff off the back porch and making a ruckus. So I'm off to shoo him off the porch and give him a stearn talking to.
