School Field Trips

Looking back to May, Darcy's school went on a field trip to it's neighbor the YO Ranch.  And while the giraffes didn't get close to the bus this year (they usually come up for oatmeal cookies), they now have some Dama Gazelles that we were able to hand feed!  Darcy enjoyed it, and especially enjoyed the swimming after the tour!

A What??

When we were in Galveston last weekend, we saw in the paper that a local boy had found a pink grasshopper and it now lives at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Then, this morning Doug was moving stuff around with the machine, and bolts in the house with "Look what I found!"

I called the lady at the museum and she had another later near San Antonio find one yesterday!
